Bio

Buz Livingston CFP® provides his clients with professional, unbiased and objective financial planning and investment management.

Buz has been quoted by The Street.com, MSN Money, Yahoo.com , Money, Financial Advisor magazine and several newspapers including the LA Times and the Baltimore Sun. Since 2006 Buz has had a weekly byline in The Walton Sun offering financial advice and commentary. He also worked as freelance columnist with the Motley Fool.

He received his BS from the University of Georgia in 1978 and passed the distinctive CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ examination in 2003. Buz holds a Certificate in Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning. He is a Registered Investment Advisor in both Florida and Georgia.

Buz has served his community as Board Member, President and Family Selection Chair, Habitat for Humanity, Walton County. Currently he is on the South Walton Community Council's Board of Directors and is second Vice-President. Other community organizations he has lent his expertise include the South Walton Fire District's Pension Board and The Seaside Rep. He and his wife Susan volunteer with South Walton Turtle Watch.
