Bio

Buz Livingston CFP®, of Livingston Financial Planning Inc., provides his clients with professional, unbiased and objective financial planning and advice.

Buz is an oft-quoted financial planner, with advice often seen on The Street.com, MSN Money, Yahoo.com and Financial Advisor magazine. He has been cited by syndicated columnists Eileen Ambrose and Gail Marksjarvis in several newspapers including the LA Times and the Baltimore Sun. Buz also writes a weekly Walton Sun column offering financial advice and commentary and is a freelance columnist with the Motley Fool.

He received his BS from the University of Georgia in 1978 and passed the distinctive CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) examination in 2003. Buz holds a Certificate in Financial Planning which he received from College for Financial Planning. He is a registered Investment Advisor in both Florida and Georgia.

Buz has served his community as Board Member, President and Family Selection Chair,  Habitat for Humanity, Walton County.  Also, he is Treasurer of Point Washington Methodist Church Men's Group.
